Cornforth Lecture (Monday October 9th, 4-6 pm, Susan Wakil Building)
This year, our guest lecturer will be Professor Morten Meldal from the University of Copenhagen. Professor Meldal was awarded a share of the 2022 Nobel Prize for the development of click chemistry and bioorthogonal chemistry.
Ruth Gall Lecture (Tuesday October 10th, 11-12 pm, Chemistry Lecture Theatre 3)
Coupled with the Cornforth Lecture, our Ruth Gall lecturer is Dr Phaedria Marie St.Hilaire, who is the CEO and Chief Consultant at Phaedria Marie Consulting. In addition to having a PhD in Chemistry, Phaedra is passionate about diversity, inclusion and belong, and changing the gender and race narrative. Her talk is entitled “Embracing change – the power of personal reinvention”.
Le Fevre Student Lectures (Friday October 27th, 11-12:30 pm, Chemistry Lecture Theatre 4)
Three selected student speakers in the final stages of their PhD will present their research, hosted by the Sydney University Chemical Society.
